How will you be compensated:
- $100,000-$135,000 Base Salary in year 1
- Uncapped New Business Commission Structure
- Yearly Renewal Business Commissions

What you will do:
- Work in our Irvine office alongside peers 3 days per week while working remotely and in the field up to 2 days per week with Agency provided technology and hardware
- Tenaciously solicit new business with drive and initiative through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other lead sources
- Work closely with your mentors and manager to gain a deep understanding of Employee Benefits products as well as industry knowledge, laws/regulations and best practices
- Successfully manage the full sales cycle including:
- Lead generation
- Prospecting/Outreach
- Presenting
- Negotiating
- Closing with C-Suite level executives
- Presenting Open Enrollments
- Renewal process
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Employee Benefits market
- Understand laws and regulations associated with Employee Benefits administration including Affordable Care Act
- Present renewal proposals to existing clients and deliver open enrollment presentations
- Advise clients on the changing landscape of the benefits environment and develop unique client business strategies
- Continually learn and proactively respond within a constantly changing market
Your Qualifications:
- 4 year college degree or relevant work experience in client-facing role
- 3-5 years of Outside Sales/Cold Calling experience
- Knowledge of basic insurance concepts and willingness to undergo comprehensive training in benefits products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proactive and self-motivated with a drive to succeed in a sales-oriented environment
- Proficiency in software applications commonly used in an office environment
- CA Health & Life license or attainment within 90 days (employer sponsored)
