About the Role:
Commercial Marketing Analysts are responsible for the placement of Property & Casualty business to include both new and renewal business. The position requires knowledge of the capabilities and appetite of insurance carriers as well as familiarity with rating systems. The Marketing Analyst coordinates a high-volume workload within a deadline-driven environment.

- You have experience cultivating strong, positive relationships with both staff (sales and service) and insurance carrier personnel
- You excel at highly complex, detail-oriented analysis

- You enjoy navigating negotiation with carriers and strategic collaboration with Sales/Advisors
What you will do:
- Meet regularly with insurance carrier representatives to
- Build collaborative relationships
- Keep current on status with the agency and capabilities as well as risk appetite
- Continually expand technical knowledge, identify market trends, and stay informed of current industry standards
- Analyze insurance coverages and pricing models to fit client needs
- Complete rating, gather information from insurance carrier website, obtain quotes, and prepare proposals and presentation materials
- Maintain client files with excellent documentation and organization of data in agency system Applied Epic
Qualifications:
- High school degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, multiple carrier portals, Applied Epic as well as ability to learn new applications
- An in-depth understanding of the Independent Insurance Agency system
- Current California Property & Casualty license
- Reliable transportation with current auto insurance is necessary for occasional client meetings, continuing education, and/or professional development courses
